Two new appointments to further strengthen HVG’S brand recognition
17/2/2010
Melanie Brophy has been appointed Account Manager – Building Products in NSW and will be responsible for developing customer relationships and encouraging sales growth of HVG’s extensive portfolio of decorative building products. Bringing a wealth of sales experience to her new role, Ms Brophy has previously held sales positions in the automotive, banking and finance industries over the past 20 years. “Melanie joins us from ISS Facility Services and with her drive and strong background in sales, I’m certain that she will be a popular addition to our building products sales team,” said Scott Bain, NSW Sales Manager, Halifax Vogel Group. HVG’s range of products for the building industry includes the CREAstyle and CREAmetal ranges of high pressure laminates, Zenolite – the alternative to glass panels, Dibond aluminium composite material, SmartStone engineered stone surfaces, and Seratone lightweight, high-density fibreboards. To further increase the market penetration of SmartStone, HVG has also appointed Yvonne Janson to the position of Account Manager – SmartStone in NSW. The SmartStone brand comprises three types of engineered stone –Terrazzo, Marble and Quartz – in matching slab and tile and a unique colour palette with various finishes for residential and commercial projects. Ms Janson brings an extensive knowledge of HVG’s building products range – including SmartStone – to her new role, having previously served as Account Manager – Specification for more than six years. “Yvonne has helped close sales for several major projects and developed important long-term business relationships with builders and designers in her time with HVG, and she will be a valuable asset as we look to take the SmartStone brand to a new level of recognition in the residential and commercial building sector,” said Mr Bain.

Graphic Rewards 10,000 Point Reward Winner
18/12/2009

The winner of the Graphic Rewards 10,000 Point Reward is Mark from Signs & Lines in Midvale WA.

Mark’s entry scored very high on the judging criteria including originality, humour and community spirit being “focused on philanthropy” with suggestions that rewards can be tailored for charities and those in need to benefit them such as “send a clown to a children’s ward in hospital to brighten up their day”. Mark said “I believe this is a holistic reward that can be structured to tick all the boxes for compassion, humour and community” and the judges agreed with him.

There were other great reward suggestions received, from camera’s to diamonds.

Many of you want holidays so it sounds like everyone has been very busy and need a break. Quite a few entries were for rewards for staff which is a great way to say “thank you for your hard work”.
